Bocciolo | Danish Bud Floor Lamp with E27 Base Slim Standing Reading Light
$275.00
- Bud-shaped shade that closes toward the top
- Standard E27 socket — you choose the bulb
- 65" tall on an 8" base — stands beside a chair, not in front of it
Secure Checkout & Trusted Payments
The shade closes toward the top like a bud rather than flaring open, so light falls downward instead of spilling sideways across the room. Beside a chair that is the difference between a reading lamp and a floodlight.
Danish design logic runs through the proportions — slim, quiet, nothing added for effect. It stands 65" tall on a base only 8" across, so it goes next to a chair instead of in front of it.
The E27 socket takes any standard screw bulb, so you set the brightness and the warmth yourself, and you can change your mind years from now.
- Height: 65" (165 cm)
- Shade: 11.8" (30 cm) across, 5.5" (14 cm) deep, closed bud form
- Base: 8" (20 cm) across
- Socket: standard E27
- Cable: 8 ft (2.5 m)
- Best for: reading chair, bedside, narrow corners

Closed like a bud
The shade narrows toward the top rather than flaring open, so light falls downward instead of spilling sideways across the room. Next to a reading chair that is the difference between a lamp and a floodlight.
Your bulb, your light
The E27 socket is the common screw fitting, so brightness and warmth are yours to set and yours to change later. Nothing here is sealed in or proprietary.
Danish restraint
Slim proportions and a quiet silhouette, in the Danish habit of letting a shape do the work instead of decoration. It stands beside a chair rather than announcing itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
What bulb does it take?
Any standard E27 screw bulb. Check the rating printed on the lamp before fitting a high-wattage bulb, and use a warm LED if you want it for reading in the evening.
How bright will it be?
That is set by the bulb you fit. The bud shape sends most of the light downward, so a given bulb reads brighter on the page and dimmer on the ceiling than it would in an open shade.
Where does it work best?
Beside a reading chair, at a bedside, or in a corner where a wider lamp would not fit — it is 65" tall but the base is only 8" across. It is a lamp for one seat rather than a whole room.
Do you offer free shipping?

How long does shipping take?
