Cerchio | Metal Platform Bed with Vintage Circular Headboard and Footboard
$219.00
- Circular headboard and footboard you can see through
- Metal frame — it does not warp with humidity
- Platform base rated to 800 lb, so no box spring is needed
Secure Checkout & Trusted Payments
The circular motif in the headboard and footboard is a detail borrowed from old iron bedsteads, and it does something a solid panel cannot: it lets you see through the frame, so the bed does not visually block a wall or a window behind it. In queen the headboard stands 44.09" and the footboard 13.98".
Metal construction is the reason beds of this shape stay in service for decades. It does not swell or warp with humidity the way wood does, and it holds a painted finish. The frame carries 800 lb.
The platform takes the mattress directly, with no box spring needed. Queen measures 81.55" long by 61.02" wide, with a 79.92" x 60.24" deck; twin, full and king follow their standard mattress sizes.
- Queen: 81.55" L x 61.02" W x 44.09" H (also twin, full and king)
- Headboard: 44.09", with a 20.28" circular panel
- Footboard: 13.98"
- Mattress deck: 79.92" x 60.24"
- Weight capacity: 800 lb
- Foundation: platform, no box spring needed

Open, not solid
The circular motif does something a solid panel cannot — you see through the frame, so the bed does not visually block the wall or the window behind it. In a small bedroom that is worth more than the style.
Why metal lasts
Metal is the reason old beds of this shape are still in service. It does not swell or warp with the seasons the way a wooden frame does, and it holds a painted finish.
Vintage, not reproduction
The circle is a detail borrowed from old iron bedsteads, kept because it works rather than because it looks old. It gives a plain modern room something with a bit of history in it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a box spring?
No. It is a platform bed, so the mattress goes straight onto the frame. A box spring would only raise the height and hide the frame it sits in.
What sizes does it come in?
Twin, full, queen and king. Pick the size on this page before adding to cart — the frame is built to the mattress size you choose.
How do I keep the finish good?
Dust it with a dry cloth and wipe marks with a barely damp one, then dry it off. Avoid abrasive cleaners — they take the sheen off a painted metal frame faster than years of use will.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we ship free on all orders, with no minimum purchase required.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days and transit times are estimated at 7–9 business days after dispatch.
Will I receive tracking information for my order?
Yes, once your order ships, tracking details are emailed so you can follow delivery progress.
What is your return policy timeframe?
You can return items within 30 days from when your order arrives for an easy return.
Do I pay a restocking fee?
There are no restocking fees as long as the item is unused and returned in its original packaging.
What if my item is damaged or defective?
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are free to return, and refunds are typically processed within 7 business days after inspection.
