$45.00
- Raised Roman numerals that cast their own shadows
- Silent movement — no tick in a quiet room
- 15.7" across and half an inch deep — big face, flat profile
Secure Checkout & Trusted Payments
The Roman numerals stand proud of the face rather than being printed on it, casting their own shadows as light moves across the wall through the day. It is the detail that separates a clock you notice from a clock you do not.
Iron construction gives it heft and a retro edge, with a vintage rusted finish that suits an exposed brick wall or a room with darker wood as readily as a plain painted one. The openwork numerals let the wall colour show through the face.
At 15.7" across and only half an inch deep, it is big enough to read across a room and flat enough to sit close to the wall. It takes one AA battery, which is not included.
- Diameter: 15.7" (40 cm)
- Depth: 0.47" (12 mm)
- Material: iron, vintage rusted finish
- Numerals: raised openwork Roman numerals
- Movement: quartz, quiet
- Power: 1 x AA battery, not included

Numerals in relief
Because the numerals stand off the face, the clock changes through the day as light moves across the wall. A printed dial looks the same at every hour.
Silent movement
A ticking clock is fine in a hallway and unbearable in a bedroom. This one keeps time without the sound, so you can hang it where people actually sit.
Round and retro
A circular metal face with classical numerals is an old combination, which is why it dates slowly. It reads as well against brick or dark wood as against a plain painted wall.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really silent?
There is no audible tick from across a room. Put your ear against it and you will hear the movement, as with any clock, but it will not keep you awake.
How does it hang?
From a single fixing, like any wall clock. It is iron and 15.7" across, so use a fixing suited to your wall rather than a picture hook pressed into plasterboard.
How do I clean it?
A dry cloth, working around the raised numerals where dust settles at the base of each one. Skip sprays — liquid and clock movements are a poor combination.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we ship free on all orders, with no minimum purchase required.
How long does shipping take?
