Sogno | Surreal Melting Wall Clock with Roman Numerals Modern Statement Decor
$95.00
- Roman numerals on a face that refuses to sit still
- Reads as sculpture on a wall a print would only decorate
- Still a working clock, not a novelty object
Secure Checkout & Trusted Payments
Roman numerals on a warped, flowing face is a deliberate collision: the most formal way of marking hours, applied to a shape that refuses to hold still. That tension is what makes the piece interesting rather than merely odd.
The form is irregular by design, so it never quite settles into a circle as you move past it. It weighs about 1.8 lb, which is enough to hang solidly from a single fixing without needing a heavy anchor.
It still tells the time, which is what keeps it from being a novelty. Read the numerals and it behaves like any wall clock; step back and it goes back to being an object.
- Face: surreal melting form, single-sided
- Numerals: Roman
- Movement: quartz, silent
- Weight: 1.8 lb (800 g)
- Power: AA battery, not included
- Care: dry cloth, no sprays or solvents

Formal numerals, loose form
Roman numerals are the most formal way of marking hours, and they are set here on a shape that will not hold still. The collision is the point: without the numerals it would only be a strange object.
Different from every angle
The face is irregular rather than round, so it never quite resolves into a circle as you cross the room. That is what lets it hold a plain wall on its own.
Keeping the finish
A dry cloth over the face and the numerals is all it wants. Sprays and solvents are the one thing to avoid, because the surface finish is doing most of the work here.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it actually tell the time?
Yes. It is a working wall clock. The distortion is in the shape of the face, not in the order of the hours.
Is it hard to read at a glance?
Less than you would expect. The Roman numerals are what keep it legible; they sit where you look for them even when the face around them is moving.
Where does it work best?
On a wall with room around it. It is a statement piece, so it competes with anything hung near it rather than sitting in a gallery arrangement.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we ship free on all orders, with no minimum purchase required.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days and transit times are estimated at 7–9 business days after dispatch.
Will I receive tracking information for my order?
Yes, once your order ships, tracking details are emailed so you can follow delivery progress.
What is your return policy timeframe?
You can return items within 30 days from when your order arrives for an easy return.
Do I pay a restocking fee?
There are no restocking fees as long as the item is unused and returned in its original packaging.
What if my item is damaged or defective?
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are free to return, and refunds are typically processed within 7 business days after inspection.
